Just like to say thankyou to all who helped on this, especially Andy Kunz
and Dave McLaughlin.  Finally got the bloody thing working.  The problem?
Well, mostly it was a Friday afternoon problem :o)  Just got in today and
spotted a mistake in my master code (VB5 at the moment).  As always, a
valuable lesson learned, don't assume *any* part of your project is working
properly when debugging!
