I don't know if it was reported here before, but Microchip released
    two PICs with USB.  Read the report here:

    Dated 2/29/00 so it might be old news to some of you.

and it says...

    "Samples are planned for May 2000 with volume production scheduled for
    August 2000."

so that means Microchip has ANNOUNCED two pics with USB.  Sadly, this
is (can be) somewhat (a lot) different from "RELEASED."
