RE: Microchip Samples

Giles,

I know what you're going through. I use to beable to
call up my local "representative" and get the samples
without ANY problems (other than lead time). Now since
having to deal with these distributors (since MCHIP
dropped their REPS)it's like asking them to give up one
of there arms. The funny thing is that it seems to me that
MICROCHIP was better off with the REPS than they are now!!

Best regards,
Steve

Ok, I am from the old school.
I am having a hard time understanding what is happening.  I know Microchip
tells us to ask our distributors for samples now.
Does Microchip help the distributors with samples?  Because my distributors
act like I am asking for an unbelivable favor!
Is the policy: Buy what you need, Microchip does not help developers any
more?

Just wondering what others are doing..

Best regards,
Giles
