I was told by the FAE those SX thingies run near 50 if you just leave
the OSC inputs floating. Combine that with a possible wrong config.

Also, for a "cheap" unit, why not just use a cheap ceramic resonator
with builtin caps anyway. Probably much better frequency stability.
