Hey Everyone,

I just had to share this.  This is how I became interested in
electricity/electronics.

I got a Light Brite for Christmas one year.  For those of you who do not
know what that is, it is basically a box with a 25W light bulb that you put
a picture frame on.  This picture frame is full of holes.  What you do is
place a piece of black paper over the light using the frame.  On this paper
is a pattern that you stick colored plastic dowels much like those use in
the game battleship except these allow light to pass through and are
different colors.

Well one day I decided to see how electricity works.  I held the light bulb
in one hand and put two pieces of 24ga. bell wire on the bulb contacts, and
placed the other ends in the socket.  What a shock!!!  I screamed and my
parents came running.  The carpet was smoldering and I was a little wobbly.
 This happened when I was in the 4th grade.

Now the kicker.  When my little brother got one 14yrs later, my parents
refused to let me show him how to use it, even though I was in college!
