I have a PIC based device that I would like to use for a test at a UK customers
site. This device uses a low power 900 Mhz ISM band radio transmitter and
receiver. I am told that this band is not available in the UK, but, one of the
radio vendors says that they have sold 900MHz ISM units to UK customers. I also
here that a certain United Nations nuclear weapons treaty monitoring
organization has gotten permission to use this band. I only need to use this
device for a few days to conduct this test. Can I legally do this? Who is the
governing agency in the UK that is the equivalent to the FCC in the US?
