Well, I am an uruguayan that have used the PIC (this is because
here we don't have SCENIX micros... I think that the PIC's architecture
is old and that Microchip don't have accomplished with his promise of
making 8 pins FLASH microcontrollers... Really, they can be released the
PIC1F627 instead of the  *very* limited PIC16C/F84, I think.)

Since 1980 , in the old spanish reviews"Mundo Electronico"  we are see
things named "PIC650" made by General Instruments.

Bueno, aca hay un yorugua que us— el PIC (eso porque todavia
no aparecieron los SCENIX por aca... la verdad es que la arquitectura
de PIC esta vieja y no cumplieron con hacer PICs de 8 patas y memoria
Flash...
en fin, ni siquiera se consigue el PIC16F627, que es el
que deberian haber sacado en lugar del limitadito PIC16C/F84).

Desde 1980, ya aparecia en las viejas revistas "Mundo Electronico"
unas cosas llamadas"PIC1650" hechas por General Instruments.
