Speaking of transistor arrays, I implemented a cool H-Bridge I thought the
list might be interested in.

It is the TC4467 from TelCom Semiconductor Inc.  It's a logic input QUAD
H-Bridge for direct drive of stepper and small DC motors.  Supply voltage
from 4.5V-18V and continuous current of 300mA per output.

So to control a small DC motor all you need from a PIC is a direction bit
and a PWM output. Quite pickish!

Type CA3082 contains 7 npn and CA3083 contains 5 npn
Then there are the ULN2801, ULN2803, ULN2804 these are the usual 8
darlington driver type ic's. and the older 7 darlington type ULN2003/4's.
Data sheet's om the net.
