Speaking of transistor arrays, I implemented a cool H-Bridge I thought the list might be interested in. It is the TC4467 from TelCom Semiconductor Inc. It's a logic input QUAD H-Bridge for direct drive of stepper and small DC motors. Supply voltage from 4.5V-18V and continuous current of 300mA per output. So to control a small DC motor all you need from a PIC is a direction bit and a PWM output. Quite pickish!
