I remember a series of messages awhile ago regarding emulating a 4004 with the pic... Keelan Lightfoot first requested info regarding either 1) pic firmware to emulate the 4004, or 2) info on the 4004 so he could write such software. The discussion generated 15 messages with the subject "4004 on PIC?" and "intel 4004" from 9/20/99 to 9/23/99. That should be enough info to search the archive for the messages.
