        We have a product that uses the HP(Agilent) HEADS 9040 (U$28 in small qt.)
shaft encoder module (2000 counts/rev with index),
that interfaces directly to a SX, now we're trying to reduce the cost of
the product.
        Question is:
        Does anyone know if there's an "almost" drop in replacement for the HEDS
module ?
        Any "Ching-Ling" (Taiwan/China based) ?
        I've already made a web search and the HP module stills the cheap one.
