On a project we did a few years ago we used a piece of plastic that had a
small daimond pattern embossed on it, we also used coloured acyrilic sheet
that someone had put vee lines down the sheet and was lit across the sheet,
on both of these had silverfoil on the back and had a cut-out for were the
display was. there was a few other sheets with symbols that were stacked and
was displayed by lighting that sheet of plastic.
