Hello,

I'm new to the Piclist so please be gentle

I am attempting to revitalize an old Picstart 16B1 so that it can be used to
program 16c63a's.

I've found, downloaded and programmed into a 17c44 the phoenix.hex from the
new-elec website. I've also downloaded and tryed out the WinTM4.exe program
from the new-elec site.

It doesn't work for me. I believe that either the phoenix.hex file is corrupt
in some way or I shouldn't be trying to use a 17c44 device.

I'm using a Needhams EMP-20 programmer to put phoenix.hex into the 17c44.

Would any kind sould care to assist me?
