I've looked at Hotmail - not a very capable system.  However, there
is a way for you.  Send a message to:

listserv@mitvma.mit.edu

with anything in the subject line and the line:

set piclist subj

And from then on there will be [PICLIST] in the subject line.
You should then be able to filter using something like:
"If Subject contains [PICLIST]"
