Several have sent pre-congradulations and wished my wife and I luck in
our labor, so I thought you would like a status report:

Grant Adam Davis was born at 1:02 pm EST (+5 GMT) on Tuesday, March 21.
He weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces (3.09 kg), and 20.5 inches (521
mm).  Both mother and baby (and father) are doing well after laboring
for 35(!) hours (She was able to sleep about 2-3 hours of that time, I
got about 4 hours during that time).  We came home from the hospital
today, and I'll be enjoying paternity leave until next Wednesday.  I
salute all you who have gone through labor, either as the laborer or the
partner, I never knew how exhausting it would be, and I've a new respect
for women.  I suspect my respect for fathers will grow as time goes
by...  (You're out of luck until then ;-)

At any rate, I may have some time during the next few days to relax and
do some PIC stuff - if so, you'll hear about it.
