Has anybody tried/thought about playing around with one of these:

May be interesting to have your PICs on the Web. I know there's been
discussions lately on the subject - including the app note from Microchip. I
think the general assessment is that it's tough to get a PIC to do it alone,
maybe something like this with your PICs could do it...

Just a thought...

(We're looking into it since we have a JMS (Java Message Service) product
that's perfect for loosely-couple systems like these).
