I'm basically doing the same sort of thing (buffering an RF packet).  The
Ramtron's look nice, and I'm seeing if there is any reason I couldn't use
them.  I haven't worked out a longevity model at 10Giga writes/reads,
because I don't have my usage nailed down yet.

Future has the 2KByte version in stock for $1.80 a piece...
