Hello, Ok. I have just been testing my little robot with many different batteries. They all seem to start up just fine but die out pretty much after that or are to heavy. Batteries tried (coin style batteries): (CR2032, and some other CRs and BRs) The robot has a circuit with the PIC12c509 being in it, along with two NPN 3904 transistors running two motors (rated at 1.3v,80mA). They all share the same battery power supply. (along with the input sensors.) Now, my conclusions from the different battery trails is that it ain't the batteries nor the PIC causing the problems, but maybe the motors (sucking the power). (??) Some more info: - I have put a diode (4148 across the motor, facing away from ground) to help with the back EMF. - I simply have a PWM pulse going to the two NPNs at all times as software for test on the PIC. *** I am now STUCK!!! I need major help cause I need it to start driving around. (gotta start implementing software on it...) I think that possibly the transistors (??) are sucking all the current (??), and feeding it to the motors?? I am not sure though. Jeez. I am going crazy with this project!! Any help is appreciated to get my little guy going! :( Thank you very much, +--------------------------+ | Sep Seyedi | | -> me@sep.2y.net | | -> http://sep.2y.net | +--------------------------+
