A BSCE is a Bachelor of Science in Computer engineering. This degree focuses on computer design included both hardware and software. A BSEE is a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. As with many degrees, what those letters actually MEAN when they appear on your diploma is highly variable, ranging from "this guy barely squeaked by on the minimal course requirements and no additional experience" to "this guy was a ham, aced all his classes, rebuilt most of the lab, and spent his summers working in industry..." [BSEE] degree is in much more demand and focuses on hardware design of all electrical circuits. It is very math intensive and provides a much wider knowledge of electrical design. EE's are more focussed, but everyone uses computers these days, so I'm not sure who'd be in more demand. I suspect that there are more companies willing to hire a BSEE with no additional experience than BSCE or BSCS in the same boat... I suspect that you can still get an EE degree without learning anything but the barest minimum of computer science and/or programming skills... BillW
