Anyway,

afaik Dontronic has something similar like the pic-based basicstamps for
`51 series,
but/and/or I remeber that Don told somewere on the net that the syntax is a
little bit similar to the pic, but you should better take a look on his
site....

If you need a nice basic-environment for the `51 take a look at
www.mcselec.com. It`s not a "realtime-basic" but for other not
time-critical tasks it is very nice.
