You can download my windtmf program at http://home.aol.com/~pdrunen called
windtmfd.zip and then unzip and install. In the schematic section there is a
circuit.
It also uses the 8870 decoder.

Once you install the program you can view the schematic, the configuration
for the audio input will accept and decode a signal between the tip and ring
lines (red and green wire).  Make sure the 0.1 uF input caps are 100V working
volts.
