Yes I was, or not reading it! Silly me assumed it worked like a normal character LCD, I didn't realise that you had to move the cursor separately _ anyway we might stick to using the text attributes to highlight the selected character. I couldn't access your t6963c.pdf file via the Tesco web page but I had previously downloaded it from your ourworld.compuserve.com site will this site be discontinued shortly? Oh and on the data auto read/write functions have you got the STA3 and STA2 bits swapped? Apart from the screen peek and copy functions, which I'm not sure what they do, I think I've used all the functions. I just wish there was a screen/controller with higher resolution and colour that was as easy to use with a PIC.
