Dear All, My name is George Peyco and I am from San Diego, I am hereby requesting for someone who can provide me a 'way' to recover the code from one protected PIC16C54A (security bit set). Thanks in Advance, George P.S. Oh, I'm sorry. In looking at the chip I've found that it wasn't actually protected. I'll just copy it off the chip and decode and rebuild it myself. Excuse me, I realize that I could have been mistaken for somebody who was trying to ILLEGALLY steal another persons code. It's a good thing I took a second look or somebody might think that statistically speaking I was out to rip somebody off. It'd be a shame if they didn't ask me directly and just start flying off the handle. P.S.S. This actually happened to me in my job as a test technician so don't blow it off. We had one copy of an IC that was used to run a test fixture and if it had been protected we would've been screwed. Oscar could very well be getting stuck for the mistake of another person. You have a problem with him, ask him.
