Mike, I missed your question about the RS-232 interface. If that's the same
module family mentioned in my earlier message, those are logic level inputs
and outputs so you can either directly connect it to a PIC or use an RS-232
interface (ie: MAX232) for RS-232 levels. Note, for 9600, leave JP3 Open.
For 1200, short it.
