I wonder how is the response time for strain gages... would it be fast
enough to generate 20 to 30 samples during each whole engine cycle, at
8000 rpm?  :)  It is around 4000 samples/second.  I also wonder about
pressure sensors response time. I never needed to use them for high
speed pressure changes... always was a "seconds" measurement sampling.
