It is a sort-of-the-same problem as with credit-cards and the like. It's too easy to use them to know what a individual is doing, or where he/she is. And, taken that the people that want to know these kinds of things (gouverment explicitely *included*) are mostly not "on your side", it scares the hell out of me.
