I have some comments on the new MPLAB 4.99.07, It looks better with the menu's and all BUT: I have to agree with Quentin here, issues with ICD are NOT resolved, user input did (yet again) not make it to the program, just to the planned improvements list. Many of the suggestions or bugfixes would take minimal time to implement or fix but the only thing that seems important to microchip is that all devices new and old make it on the list of supported chips (no matter how broken this support is) And the answer to the $1.000.000 question is......nope unfortunately not. Actually, I am disappointed. With every new release of MPLAB since I started using it more than 3 years ago I expect them to do something about the controls of the Sim and other things such as a proper working Tool bar. And every time they disappoint me. I'm not going to repeat all my complaints here, some of them are on the M'chip Web board. The new changes are just cosmetic and are with menus that you only use once or twice when you build a project. Why don't they concentrate on the real issues here such as MPSIM, which now is even more important due to ICD. Looks like they do the Microsoft shuffle here: Add support, add support, change picture, add support, add support, change picture, etc... Meantime the code stays BROKEN! OK, I'll get off the soap box now..... Anybody got a proper sim that works with ICD???? Quentin
