Can you trace where any of the wires come from This would be a great help in trying to understand the circuit or is it all fried ? On a side note Maxon make great motors, with just the coil (in tubular form) and the shaft as the armature ------------- 1 ----------------------CCC-------------- ----------------------CCC-------------- I ------------- coil CCC = commutator Open circuit you have only the bearing resistance (can't count the poles on these babys) The field(stationary) magnet is inside the tubular coil. More like a speaker than a motor. They cost a lot but are among the best motors you can get.
