We have a couple of pic based boards with separate
eeproms that use the i2c bus between the pic and the
memory.  The bus is available on a connector so that
another device (also pic based) can access the eeprom.
 A requirement has arisen for a pc to also be able to
access the eeprom, and the only path is via the i2c
bus.
Any product suggestions for a "turnkey" device (easily
accessed thru VB) that talks to an i2c bus??
I'm looking for a purchased product because I don't
have any experience with the interfacing on the pc
side (RS-232, parallel port, or ISA bus), and don't
have the time right now to learn, build and code such
a device.  However, it would be nice if the product
were pic based, so that tweaks could be made down the
line, if necessary!
