It's been a while since I looked there, but you can try
http://www.cd-info.com/ where you can find all kinds of wonderful stuff
about CDs.

Subject: [OT] Info on CD File System
I need some info on CD file system format(s). I do not know if the file
system is different for Audio CD/ Video CD/ CDs where data is stored. Info
on DVD file system is also required. Please give me some related
information or links.
Thanks & Regards,
Somasundaram Meiyappan
DVD's with video on them are encrypted. You need the keys and the encryption algorithm to decode them. The keys are only supposed to be known by manufacturers of decoders. Be carefull, a young lad (I think from Norway?) was arrested for simply reverse engineering the Xing decoder to get the keys and incorporating them into a Linux player.
