If I remember correctly, the only reason MPLAB didn't work with NT was the serial port (NT doesn't like to let users have control of it). I thought that had been fixed in one of the 4.x releases. ----- Original Message ----- From: Don Hyde To: Sent: Friday, February 04, 2000 1:22 pm Subject: Re: Communication Problems in Win NT 4.0 SP 5 MPLAB is supposed to be NT-compatible if and when they release the 32-bit version (5.something, presumably), but until then it is still a 16-bit Windoze program that only just barely works with 95 and not at all with NT. Well, under NT, you can run the editor but none of the real tools like programmers or emulators. > -----Original Message----- > From: Gustavo Fabian Paredes [mailto:mirgus@INFOVIA.COM.AR] > Sent: Friday, February 04, 2000 7:25 AM > To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > Subject: Communication Problems in Win NT 4.0 SP 5 > > > I have installed the MPLAB (V 3.22.00) with windows NT 4.0 > Service Pack 5.
