Unless the wall-wart itself is rated for *full* isolation to the relevant standards, I'd stick to the conventional approach of using either a common receptacle into which you may plug *either* the charger *or* the patient leads, or two receptacles with an exclusion shutter which covers either one or other at any given time. -- Cheers, Paul B.
