I too have used it pre-merger. It's the only time I have thrown
something worth (?) US$10k into the bin. Not only did it frequently
crash but it it also disconnected and renamed nets on its own. They
charged an arm and a leg for support while delivering demo versions
of enhancements. Using Ultiboard cost me a lot more than the purchase
price.
All of this may have changed with a new name on the box.
