I have interfaced a 16F84 to a 32k static ram by using port B as a data bus and 2 external 8 bit counters for the address. Port A supplies CE, Rd/Wr and counter reset lines and the counters are incremented from the CE line. Means you have to sequentially step through all the address locations but as I was using it as a data logger I wanted to do this anyway.
