The project syncs video (writes a count on each video frame) with an EEG data recorder on a PC keeping digital track of the same count. The result being each recorded video frame has a unique number that can be matched with 24 channels of EEG wave forms. Used for anesthetic evaluation in operations. Youre right.. the data sheet is a bit theoretical, trying to cover all possible uses in one application schematic, a good real world project is in Electronics Australia OCT 99 (www.electronicsaustralia.com.au) called "Compact Video Title Generator"...... AND it uses a PIC 16F84! I am using a PIC16F877 to run the count, talk to the video chip and drive an LCD display etc. _____________________________ Lance Allen Technical Officer Uni of Auckland Psych Dept New Zealand www.psych.auckland.ac.nz _____________________________
