Friends, Looking for some general "gotchas" here... I'm about to transition from a purchased prototype board (An 18 pin MockUp) to my own board. As I begin to lay it out, does anybody have their favorite "go to have" components on the board. This project is series of off-board switches that trigger microcontroller compatible high-side switches that are located off-board. Here's what I've got so far: 2 PICs - F84 and 12C509 1 Murata 4mhz resonator (caps included) for the F84 .10f cap decoupling cap for Vdd MCLR switch and a 10k pulldown Pulldowns for the off-board switches Power is coming from a supply located off-board. This is an automotive project. I've got automotive/industrial grade components. I've also got Motorola's layout techniques guide. Am I missing something? BTW - The MockUp boards www.technicalworks.com are really nice units. -DO
