Hi to all MPLAB users,

I am using MPLAB 4.00.14.

Basically, it works fine and I know how to use
it.  But it has several annoying limitations.
Does anyone know if there are workarounds, or
if any newer version on MPLAB fixes these:

1) I program in C (HiTech), and MPLAB often does
not single step through C-code correctly, it
always wants to pop the Program Memory
Window to the top and single-step as machine code.

Clicking the Source window to the front does NOT
fix this, I have to click the Program Memory
Window, THEN the Source Window, and even that
doesn't always work.

I think I'm doing all the build-related
suggestions HiTech has, but they only get me part
way.  HiTech says the .COD files are right, and
its MPLABs problem...

2) The Project won't remember that the File
register window is supposed to be in Symbolic
mode, AND when I switch modes, the window changes
to largest size.

Again, these are mainly annoyances, but does
anyone have any help
for me?
