Hello Tom & PIC.ers, This one caught me a few years ago. I don't think uchip have made this any friendlier since... After much hair-pulling: In earlier mplab versions (3.xx etc.) I was *eventually* able to get source file case insensitivity by invoking project > make setup > Extra Assembler Options and giving it the /c- option. Mplab 4.12 seems to do it differently. Take a look at DS51025B User's Guide page 39. Chap 4.4.4 Set Node Properties. You might be able to jiggle the soft switches to get what you want, or try putting under 'Additional Command Line Options' the /c- command, or to be more complete /aINHX8M /e+ /l+ /c- Hope this helps, best regards, John >Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2000 20:20:56 GMT >From: Tom Bratton >Subject: MPLAB case sensitivity > >How do I get MPLAB to accept upper and lower case in the source file? > >When I assemble a file containing mixed upper and lower case using MPASM = >for >Windows direct the file builds with no errors. This is with the 'Save = >settings on >exit' box checked in MPASM. > e-mail from the desk of John Sanderson, JS Controls. Snailmail: PO Box 1887, Boksburg 1460, Rep. of South Africa.
