According to your email address, you are using AOL. If you are using any of AOL's programs to put your pictures on a webpage, or your webpage is on one of their servers, then I am almost certian that a program has purposefully edited your picture so it won't take up so much space. There may be settings in your program to change some parameters before putting the page up, such as Compression and Size. Other problems might be that somehow the pictures were put up incorrectly, and you haven't uploaded the better versions of them. When you update your page, the page may refer to your good pictures when it's on your hard drive, but when it's on your server it refers to the pictures on the server.
