The subject says all : has anyone used the basicX chip?

It looks very nice, programmed in basic (you guessed that:-), 32 Kb
eeprom, 8 analog inputs, 8 digital io... Seems fast and easy to
program... (chip + software kit : 100$)

any comments? because I intend to buy one...
