I use emacs for source editing; it has colour syntax highlighting, integration with cvs, and keyboard triggered assembly and burn. I use cvs for source library and revision control. I use nfs or rsync to propogate the source and HEX file to the laptop that does the programming. I use gpasm as my assembler, gpsim as my simulator. I use picprg as the programmer. I write documentation in HTML using emacs, take pictures with a digital camera, carve schematics with xcircuit and publish to a web server with rsync. -- James Cameron mailto:quozl@us.netrek.org http://quozl.us.netrek.org/
