It's like a daddy long legged spider. Rip off a leg and they still walk away (depends on how many). I have several JW pics with burned ports. I mark the pin with a black marker and make sure if I use that one, I avoid that pin (thus I end-up with alot of PIC designs that don't use a specific port). As long as you don't fry it all the way back to the processor logic, you can keep using the pic.
