About the best capacity for the dollar (IMHO) is the OnStream tape drives.
Runs under Win9x and NT.  An IDE unit that will back up 15 gb uncompressed
(~30 gb compressed) sells for $299.95.  Tapes are ~ $40 each.  I have been
running the 50GB SCSI version on the network with no problems and good
performance.
