We had a guy install W2K in house.  It ran for a while (1-2 weeks)  He was
assembling some code (DOS based) and POW!  His machine locked up hard and
fast.  He could not reboot.  He tried to cycle power off-on, but that did
not work.   He reinstalled W98.
