There is a brilliant app note from http://www.microchip.com listed as "Simple Circuit" DD00097 useing an 8 pin PIC. Use the crystal oscillator as an RF source. Generate off "CW" pulses by sleeping on the WDT with the prescaler changed to generate variable width pulses. The tank can match the crystal or be an odd multiple. The circuit is simple and small. Protocol, RF Osc, etc.. all in one. Just need a CW receiver and decoder. http://sm0vpo.8m.com/index.htm Homebuilt circuits and PCBs for RX, TX, power, building blocks, etc... more at: http://204.210.50.240/techref/default.asp?url=io/rfs.htm James Newton mailto:jamesnewton@geocities.com phone:1-619-652-0593 http://techref.homepage.com NOW OPEN (R/O) TO NON-MEMBERS! I have an idea to build communication device which can communicate each other in the different floor in same building. (For example: the transmitter in 32nd Floor and the receiver in Basement floor). The controller is using PIC and need small size (not too big) and as cheap as possible. Any information, will be help full. Thanks a lot. Regards, Harry Febianto
