I noticed Don M.  mention about a stamp like setup using an 8051 type chip
(Tiny51). So I guess my first question may be directed to Don.

Will the Tiny51 work in an AT89C52??

I'm looking for a "no-brainer" way to start learning the Atmel chip.  I have
5 of them and want to start cookin'

If it won't, does anyone have a "no-brainer" basic setup for playing with
these things.  I considered a couple of monitors but they require ROMs and
RAMs and address latches and the whole bit.  What I want is something
sitting in the chip with maybe a SEEPROM for storage.  Smallest config I can
get.
