Thanks anyway. I did try and work it out. Although the TX, RX and GND were easy, the handshake lines were not so obvious. I did get a reply from a lister in New Zealand, when I tried that and it worked well. I had already tried the standard RS232 connections, both DCE and DTE without sucsess so it must be a proprietary pinout.
