OK. OK. Enough is enough. We can spend billions of dollars and send a probe millions and millions of miles to the farthest of planets in our solar system. We can't get a probe onto Martian soil. Well, one...... The residents of Mars just don't want us to invade their privacy. I'm sure it's in their charter of rights like it is here!!! Imagine landing near a popular Martian skinny-dipping hole to watch (er.. listen) to a bunch of naked Martians!! To me it's obvious. The get their ray guns and shoot these things when we get too close. After all, it'll be decades yet before a man actually goes there. If we just keep our probes confined to a little deserted area then they'll leave them alone :) Just some thoughts......
