Ok, The company that I work for (Husky - makers of rugged PC's) will probably shoot me for this email mentioning their competitors, but the simple fact is that we do not have space for PCI / ISA expansion cards in our form factors - we do have 4 PCMCIA card connectors on one of our products thou if that's any use. If so see:- http://www.husky.co.uk Otherwise for ruggedized laptop products check out Itronix:- http://www.Itronix.com Panasonic, http://www.panasonic.com/computer/notebook/index.htm Also check Intermec (can't remember if they're any good) http://www.intermec.com There are others - I just haven't got time to think of them at the moment regards, Steve Lawther > -----Original Message----- > From: V sml [SMTP:decoder@BIGFOOT.COM] > Sent: Wednesday, December 08, 1999 12:35 PM > To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > Subject: Re: Ruggedised PC sources [OT] > > Mars's spec might be easier as the water can be taken out of equation. > Seriously this is for rough field work in topical countries.
