Newark (among others) sells punches; I use a Nibbler, $10 at Radio Shack, to make nice rectangular holes, or do as Barry says $223.51 for a panel punch? OW! Then another $302.17 for a ribbon connector punch? Forget it! I doubt you really WANT to spend $800+ for a set of 4 of these, Jim... DA is the 15-pin (joystick) shell, to be as Finnicky as (Historically, the 15-pin connector came first, so is called DA; the 25 was next, thus is DB; 37 pinners - not super common today - next, DC's; 50 pinners are DD, then 9 pinners, DE's. Myself, I call 'em all DB connectors usually, because I know what I mean and so does the person I'm talking to, so a "DB15HD" connector is a VGA connector, technically a DE15 or HD-DA15 The Electronics world is mostly a "Make Your Own Standard" world, sadly! (The DA15-HD may've been what confused you, Barry? ) {Newark catalog has "DB09's" as well as DE09's in there, different manufacturers, different terms and naming/numbering schemes.} > Barry. Mark, who's glad he learned DA = 15 pins before the DE-09 came out! -- I re-ship for small US & overseas businesses, world-wide. (For private individuals at cost; ask.)
