Hi, Peter i got a similar problem for this chip half year ago here in austria. They told me, that it has been superceeded by the 16C711-04/P type which i am using since. But be aware, there are minor diffrencest between the new and the old type: - 1st it has 68 byte RAM :-)) which is really useful - 2nd it has only 2 delay cycles for interrupt handling instead of 3 as i am doing software PWM in this project, i had to correct my interrupt timing to get proper output with the new chip.
